Ferrari's, Porsches and...Peterbilt? Oh My!

“What is THAT doing here? This is a Car Show!”

That was the general consensus of the masses who came to the International Auto Show to see the hottest new vehicles of 2008, but found themselves attracted to a Class 7 Peterbilt of all things.  “It definitely isn’t something you’d expect to see at the International Auto Show of all places, unless it was hauling some of the cars on display” said a student who was there with his Auto Tech class.

This was no ordinary Peterbilt though. It is one of the few that doesn’t require you to have  a CDL to operate it. Which is why we chose it to represent Western Peterbilt at the show.

It’s safe to say that our display at the show was a complete success. We educated many and gave thousands of show goers the opportunity to get up close and personal with a rig that few of them would ever be able to do under any other circumstance.

We would like thank the staff at the International Auto Show and all of the show goers who stopped by our display for the warm welcome we received. It was new type of venue for us and it’s safe to say that we will see you next year with more vehicles for everyone to see.

Thank You,

Western Peterbilt
